WHAT IS ADFAS?
We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers, providing superbly illustrated, informative and entertaining lecture presentations on many diverse topics relating to the arts. In many communities, the local ADFAS society has become the focus of cultural activities, connecting people with the arts, and with each other.
The Association of ADFAS is proud to be the governing body of 37 ADFAS Societies and more than 5,500 members across regional and metropolitan Australia.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO?
Most societies support young artists or young people to engage in the arts, many record the histories of School of Arts buildings or churches or the objects inside.
The Association supports young conservators through our philanthropic fund, the Patricia Robertston Fund.
