Societies have been formed in nearly all of the capital cities of Australia and in many of the regional centres. Each society is incorporated and run on a voluntary basis by a Chairman and Committee.
The members of each ADFAS pay an annual subscription which enables the society to organise a program of 6 to 9 lectures a year. Each lecture is well illustrated, lasts for an hour, and is followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the lecturer.
Some societies also organise extra activities such as special interest days, where topics can be examined in more detail with the lecturer, and visits to museums, galleries, private collections and places of architectural or artistic interest.
If you would like to join an ADFAS society, either complete the form provided or contact the Secretary of that Society by the email address or telephone number given on their page.
