GREAT ENTHUSIASM FROM A SMALL ADFAS SOCIETY

ADFAS Cairns in North Queensland might be ADFAS’s smallest and most remote society, but it more than makes up for it with its energy, enthusiasm and engagement.
A market stall on 14 August had members Merril Coppin and Vicki Jones hard at work setting up an ADFAS stall at Holloways Beach Markets and joining in all the fun and fortune of this large community market. The stall contributed over $850 to help keep ADFAS Cairns in good financial shape.
Seventeen members and friends took a tour of the local museum: they learnt a lot, enjoyed being together and added $80 to the ADFAS Cairns funds.
To top it off, a visit from Chair Support Peter McGinley, who just happened to be there enjoying the warm Queensland sunshine, resulted in a happy and fruitful lunch with committee members.
