ADFAS Bowral & District chair, Kirstie Graham, was thrilled to host lecturer Gavin Fry at Bowral’s recent lecture event. Kirstie says “One of our members Jaqueline, the winner of our raffle is pictured here with Gavin. Jacqueline was delighted to win a beautiful book signed by Ben Quilty about his paintings. Gavin’s lecture titled War and Peace: Ben Quilty and George Gittoes, was extremely well received by a fantastic turnout, a crowd of almost 100 members”. A few ADFAS societies who hosted Gavin before the latest lockdown really set in, are unanimous about the popularity of this lecture and couldn’t agree more. Further to this, everyone has been tickled pink to spot Pokolbin Chair, Bob Lusby, in full military uniform amongst the peacetime images shown on screen, serving our country in years gone by and doing us proud!
