ADFAS Yarra provides for its members a yearly program of nine illustrated lectures given by overseas and Australian lecturers. The lecturers are selected for their specialist knowledge in their chosen fields.

Two interest afternoons are held when topics are examined in more detail. Excursions to places of interest are also arranged.

Programme for 2016

Morning lectures start at 10.00am. Afternoon lectures start at 1.30pm. They are one hour in duration and are followed by light refreshments.   Lectures are held at the Theatrette, Glen Eira Town Hall, corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield 3162.

Interest Afternoons and Excursions

Interest Afternoons are held at the Caulfield Cup Room, Glen Eira Town Hall, Cr Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield on Wednesdays from 2.00pm to 4.30pm and include afternoon tea. 


Guests are most welcome and their fees go towards our Young Arts program. Prior notice to the Bookings Secretary (Helen Hunwick Tel: 0418 516 009) is necessary and a $20 fee applies. We regret no guest may attend more than three lectures a year. The fee for members of other ADFAS societies is $10.


Annual subscription is $150.00 for single membership and $270 for double membership.
There is a $25.00 joining fee.
