ADFAS Brisbane River is now in its eighth
year of lectures.
We provide a yearly programme
of eight illustrated lectures given by six overseas and two
Australian lecturers chosen
for their communication skills and expert knowledge in
their fields.
Three special interest mornings are also held where topics
can be examined in more detail. As well tours and visits
are arranged to places of historic, cultural or artistic
interest.
An annual membership fee
of $145 provides access to the eight lectures, which include
morning tea, and to the special
Christmas Morning Tea which follows the Annual General
Meeting. Attendance
at special interest functions is limited in numbers and
charged separately at $45 each event, the cost covering
the lectures
and morning tea.
Our group of Church Recorders has completed
the recording of a number of Brisbane churches and is now
working on
Christ Church, Milton.
Our Bulletin is published twice annually
in January and June and copies are available upon request.
The lecture
and special
interest day meeting dates appear below.
